About Us

Young people can feel very removed and distant from politics. The most popular political TV shows like Question Time and Have I Got News For You feature mostly older people, who for younger generations, are difficult to relate to. Not only does this paint a dull picture of politics but it means there are few platforms for young people to have their input, whether in the form of news, opinion, writing, video, audio or art. Have I Got News For Youth is a collective of contributors aged 16-24 who aim to create an online space for young people to have their voice heard about politics and society in general. Anybody in this age bracket who is currently residing in the UK is free to submit whatever kind of content to us via our Facebook, Twitter, or email. Head to our “Contact Us” page to find out more on how you can contribute to Have I Got News For Youth!

Our aim with this site is to be a place for young people to read or learn about their government, their society and their world. We want to engage as many people as we possibly can and remind them that politics and society is interesting, fun and directly affects everything around us. Current affairs are not just for older people.

We hope you enjoy Have I Got News For Youth!
